在大田条件下,设计了品种生育特性和不同种植方式的生育特性研究2个试验。结果表明,中棉所70果节和成铃形成高峰早、峰值高;成铃率高,但后期果节形成和成铃量较低,群体果节量偏低,易早衰。不同种植方式的生育特性研究表明,春棉地膜直播处理由于早发、现蕾、成铃集中的特点更加突出,后期易早衰,因而不宜应用;春棉地膜双秆处理能充分发挥品种现蕾、成铃集中的特性,且避免了地膜直播处理早衰的不足,形成较高的群体总量,具有较好的早熟性和丰产性;麦后移栽棉在适当提高密度的前提下,其群体结构和产量可以达到一熟春棉的水平,尤其是麦后基质育苗移栽方式具有结铃优势强的特点,实行大麦后基质移栽具有产量形成的优势。
