Anne Sexton is the poignant and most “poetic” poet in American poetry. Throughout his creative career of nearly 20 years, the theme of “mother-daughter relationship” runs through. In her mother’s poetry and writing, Sexton presented her with her mother’s slaying and attracting both physically and psychologically. She uses her mother’s evil as a new point of view to show a distorted and distorted relationship between mother and daughter, to deprive her of motherhood and to negate her mother to build her identity and to establish a new system of female self-identification. But the problem is, Sexton subverts the value of traditional mothers, but I do not know how to establish a new value system to deal with the discipline and impact of patriarchal symbolic community. In the confusion, loneliness and anxiety of survival, she gradually lost her role coordinates, only to return to the mother’s identity and dependence on the mother, eventually suicide way from the emblem of freedom, return to the original regardless of the Lord The mother’s chaotic world of objects gains self-identity and self-salvation in a warm motherhood.
