第三节煤的一般知识锅炉靠燃烧燃料获得热量。锅炉中燃烧的燃枓可分成三类:固体燃料、溶体燃料和气体燃料。我国工业锅炉大部分是烧煤的,因此了解煤的性质是选择工业锅炉燃烧方式的最重要依据。煤的主要成份为:碳(C)、氢(H)、氧(O)、氮(N)、硫(S),水(W)和灰(A)。其中碳,氢和一部分硫是可以燃烧放出热量的,其余成分则是不可燃的。煤中各成份的特性如下:

Most of our industrial boilers are coal-fired, so understanding the nature of coal is the most important basis for choosing the way industrial boilers burn. The main components of coal are carbon (C), hydrogen (H), oxygen (O), nitrogen (N), sulfur (S), water (W) and ash (A).
