This article addresses issues such as inter-penetration between objects and objects, communication-without-communication and other ecological ideas of Taoists (mainly Zhuangzi) and Chinese landscape paintings and bamboo paintings relationship. More specifically, this article explores the ecological thinking of Taoism embodied in the harmonious relationship between the artist and the painted object (scene) during the painting process. The author expects to find ways to make this unique “harmony” or “oneness” more mythical, philosophical
