Recently, “CCTV” reported on the “26-year-old phenomenon” that has emerged in the field of economic crimes and sent a thoughtful and thought-provoking alarm to our political and economic circles. According to a survey report conducted by the Research Office of the People’s Procuratorate of Haidian District in the end of November 2000, Haidian Procuratorate investigated 19 cases of corruption and bribery of public officials under the age of 30 from 1998 to October 2000.
