梁鸿的《梁庄在中国》和《出梁庄记》两部作品为我们提供了审视乡土中国的新的视角,“我”是一个身份复杂的归乡者,从“我”的视角中展现了过去与现在的梁庄,“我”的情感牵引着整个叙事框架的构建,表达了深沉的乡愁。从留守梁庄和外出打工的梁庄人的视角,探讨的是城市与乡村的关系,以及现代文明下“异乡人”的情感呈现。梁庄系列展现了乡村从内到外、从形式到精神不可逆转的崩溃,我们归乡的灵魂将无所寄托。“回到梁庄”成为了对童年、家乡、存在,甚至身份认同的追寻。
