At Thomas Aquinas, natural law is like a bridge, one end of which stands on one side of the law of man, and the other on the other side, on the other side of the law of eternity. On the one hand, natural law is metaphysical, divine, and immutable; on the other hand, natural law is shaped, human, and variable. The natural law can interact with the eternal law and the human law, thus presenting the characteristics of “pass through the pass,” “one body and two sexes.” Its essence is to guide people’s “secular” practice under the “metaphysical” and “sacred” spirit and to fully reflect the transfer of “capitalism” to “humanism” in Aquinas’ thought and between the two In order to realize the organic composing of “sacred” and “secular”.
