In April 2013, a briefing was delivered from the Johns Hopkins Children’s Center in the United States, the University of Mississippi Medical Center and the University of Massachusetts Medical School: Researchers were the first to achieve the goal of treating a baby infected with HIV “Functional cure ”. It is exciting that the 3-year-old had stopped treatment for 18 months but remained healthy.
