史凤柏(陕西钢铁研究所)报道:鉴于相当数量的金属与常见多数合金有一定磁性,根据磁学理论提出了磁性防尘口罩的研制。磁性物质在非均匀磁场中要受到磁场引力的作用,其磁场作用力可用下式表示:F=HVXdH/dr(1),式中:F表示磁场作用力;V表示磁性粉尘的体积;X表示磁尘的磁化率,H表示磁场强度;dH/dr表示磁场梯度。 从(1)式可见,磁场对磁性粉尘引力F的大小,与H、dH/dr、X及V成正比。粉尘是客体,故只有靠提高磁场强度及其梯度来增强磁场吸引力以达到好的捕获磁尘的效果。
