随着计算机系统的大型化,信息处理系统也越来越大型化,存储信息的容量也要求越来越大。当前,磁盘仍然是占主导地位的大容量外存储器。有些大系统为了满足大量信息的存储,甚至要用上百台磁盘存贮器。所以,无论从磁盘的价格和所占用的面积来讲,都占了整机系统很大一部分。因此,在不改变磁盘尺寸的前提下,如何提高存储容量,降低每位平均价格,是继续研究磁盘的重大课题。日本最近已制成每盘组存储容量达八亿字节的磁盘存储器,主要有以下几方面的研究和改进。 1.采用适合高记录密度的电路结构:记录密度越高,读出信号的电平就越低,而且前后信号之间的干
