从含银离子及高价铁离子的无色定影液中,于电解槽中将此溶液通电,回收金属银。加入了一种还原剂于溶液中,提供一定的氧化还原电势,此电势表示能使高价铁离子还原成亚铁离子,但不使银离子还原成金属,而使银离子成为沉积于阴极的金属银。此电解质的氧化还原电势是控制着的,当高价铁离子出现时,能自动的加入还原剂;当高价铁还原成亚铁离子后,则自动停止,但能防止金属银的形成。
This solution is energized from a colorless fixing solution containing silver ions and high valent iron ions to recover metallic silver. A reducing agent is added to the solution to provide a redox potential that is capable of reducing the iron ions to ferrous ions but does not reduce the silver ions to the metal leaving the silver ions to be deposited on the cathode silver. The redox potential of the electrolyte is controlled, when the high-iron ions appear, can automatically add the reducing agent; when the high-priced iron reduced to ferrous ions, it automatically stops, but can prevent the formation of metallic silver.
