1992年12月,北大图书馆举行了隆重热烈、丰富多采的北大图书馆90华诞纪念活动。党和国家领导人江泽民、李鹏、李铁映和薄一波同志等分别题辞祝贺。江泽民同志的题辞是“几代英烈,百年书城。发扬传统,继往开来。”李鹏同志的题辞是:“发扬光荣传统,办好北大图书馆。”李铁映同志的题辞是:“为振兴中华而服务。”薄一波同志的题辞是:“继承和发扬革命传统,为我国教育科学文化事业作出新的贡献。”
In December 1992, Peking University Library held a solemn, colorful and rich memory of the 90 anniversary of the Peking University Library. The leaders of the party and the state, Jiang Zemin, Li Peng, Li Tieying and Comrade Bo Yibo, respectively, congratulated on their speeches. Comrade Jiang Zemin’s inscription is “a few generations of heroics and a hundred-year bookstore. Carry forward the tradition and carry forward the future.” “The commentary of Comrade Li Peng is:” Carrying forward the glorious tradition and running the Beijing University Libraries. “Comrade Li Tieying’s inscription is: ”Comrade Bo Yibo’s inscription is: “ Inherit and carry forward the revolutionary tradition, and make new contributions to the educational, scientific and cultural undertakings of our country. ”
