自76年京津唐地区发生较强烈地震以后,市政处一所在市政设计院道桥室的配合下,对所管道路上的各种类型的桥梁先后进行了震后观测、抗震鉴定和抗震加固工作。现将这项工作概况及点滴体会作扼要的介绍。从地质构造上看北京处于地震活动地带上。地震的震源深度主要分布在地壳10至15公里范围以内,大震都发生在15公里深度左右,而历史上的大震分布与三条北东方向延伸的活动断裂带密切相关。
