根据古地磁资料研究柴达木地块与周缘地块的关系 ,分析柴达木盆地中生代以来的构造背景和应力作用特征 ,试图对柴达木盆地重大地质问题给以合理的解释和佐证。根据研究结果 ,认为阿尔金断裂的走滑运动方式由中生代左行走滑转为早第三纪右行走滑 ,再转为晚第三纪左行走滑 ,指出柴达木盆地是中、新生代在不同古应力环境下形成的挤压拗陷型盆地 ,近南北向构造带形成早于北西西向构造带。
Based on the paleomagnetic data, the relationship between the Qaidam block and the peripheral massif is studied, and the tectonic setting and stress characteristics of the Qaidam basin since the Mesozoic are analyzed in order to provide reasonable explanation and evidence for the major geological problems in the Qaidam basin. According to the results of the study, it is considered that the strike-slip movement of the Altyn Tagh fault swelled from the left-slippage of the Mesozoic to the early Tertiary right-lateral slip and then to the left-lateral slip of the Late Tertiary. It was pointed out that the Qaidam Basin was a Meso-Cenozoic In the compression-depression basin formed under different paleo-stresses, the NW-trending tectonic belt formed earlier than the NW-trending tectonic belt.
