情感化设计是近十来年较新颖的说法,过去我们所接触的方方面面的设计其中也包含了情感设计。但从未将情感设计作为一个单独的分类进行详述,也从未为这种设计赋予过一个名称,更加没有为情感设计出过书。唐纳德·A·诺曼的代表作《情感化设计》以本能、行为和反思这三个设计的不同维度为基础,阐述了情感在设计中所处的重要地位与作用,深入地分析了如何将情感效果融入产品的设计中,人的积极情感,是可以战胜功能的。在有正面情绪时,很多事情变得更加容易理解和记忆,而在负面情绪下,往往导致无功而返。这种情感设计的提出以及对于情感设计的各项研究,都是对于情感设计未来发展的极好指导。高科技的社会需要高情感,正是如此,未来我们的设计方向也会朝着注重情感设计的方向发展。
