In this paper, the distribution characteristics of C5-C15 hydrocarbons in the surface sediments of the Bransfield Strait in Antarctica are studied, including n-alkanes, isoparaffins, naphthenes and aromatics. All samples contain a large number of aromatic hydrocarbons benzene, toluene, xylene and trimethylbenzene, toluene which is the absolute advantage of 75-81% of the total amount of hydrocarbons.
