依据应用型技术大学人才培养定位,新建本科院校可以尝试基于CBI理念对英语专业技能课程进行整合。首先对语言输入和输出这两方面技能做核心能力分解,打破原有课程界限,以具体的能力目标代替现有的、相对宽泛的课程目标,然后,围绕核心能力开设小微课程,使学生在教师的引导下逐步获得相应的语言技能。
