How can one judge whether a trap discharges steam instead of condensate? Four years ago Spirax Sarco of Chejtenham solved the problem. They produced a monitor called Spia-tec, which was installed in front of the trap, and the indicator connected by a cable reflected the working status of the trap: the green light indicates that it is working properly; the red light indicates the need for inspection.
