1 Overview of Potato Production in Our District Hanzhong, Shaanxi Province is located in the south of Qinling Mountains and north of Daba Mountain. It belongs to the subtropical humid monsoon climate with annual average temperature of 14-16 ℃ and annual rainfall of 800-1000 mm. Two crops a year cooked crops, some mountains for three years two years. The potato growing area extends from 600 meters above sea level to 1800 meters. The area planted potato area was 276,000 mu in 1949, once expanded to 589,000 mu in 1978, after the perennial
