豫谷2号(原名5498)是河南安阳农科所用1976年采用“安30×小柳根”×北京2122复合杂交,连续6年在安阳,海南交替选育,历经8个世代于1981年育成。1989年通过河南省农作物品种审定委员会审定,命名为豫谷2号。1982—1989年的七年中参加了地区、省、华北协作区三级四次区试和生产示范,99处试点平均亩产328.75公斤,比对照种豫谷1号平均增产11.52％,居首位。其中88-89两年省生产示范中,平均亩产340.5公斤,比豫谷1号亩增产58.5公斤,增幅20.9％。经在河南、山东、河北、辽宁等省种植均表现高产、稳产,适应范围广。还具抗谷锈病突出,兼抗白发病和谷瘟病等优良性状。90年累计种植面积135.4万亩,净增粮5416万公斤。
Yugu No. 2 (formerly 5498) was used by Henan Anyang Agricultural Science in 1976 with “An 30 × Xiaoyangen” × Beijing 2122 compound hybrids, for 6 consecutive years in Anyang, Hainan, breeding alternately, after eight generations bred in 1981. In 1989 through the Henan Province Crop Variety Approval Committee for validation, named Yugu 2. During the seven years from 1982 to 1989, he participated in the third-level four-zone trial and demonstration of production in the regional, provincial and northern cooperative areas. The average yield per hectare of the 99 pilot projects was 328.75 kg, 11.52% more than that of the control Yugu 1, . Among 88-89 two years of provincial production demonstration, the average yield of 340.5 kilograms, than Yugu 1 acres increased 58.5 kilograms, an increase of 20.9%. After planting in Henan, Shandong, Hebei, Liaoning and other provinces, they all showed high yield, stable yield and wide adaptability. Also prominent with the anti-gluten rust, and anti-white disease and the blast and other fine traits. In 1990, the total area planted was 135.4 million mu, with a net increase of 54.16 million kg of grain.
