In the winter of 1978, we spent nearly six months as part of our combat mission in the tunnel. As a result of paying close attention to the work of preventing and controlling diseases in the tunnels, no infectious diseases occurred in half a year and no one was left fighting positions due to multiple tunnels, thus completing the task of health protection well. The summary report is as follows. First, do a good job before entering the health inspection and treatment (A) check the tunnel equipment. We are currently stationed in two different tunnels, one is a complex of natural caves, about × × × × square meters; the other is man-made tunnels, about × × × × square meters. Both types of tunnels were illuminated with lights, flush toilets and sewers, and man-made tunnels lacked ventilation and kitchens. Due to the unused long-term construction, it is very necessary to check the condition of tunnel equipment.
