The existence of sedimentary basins can be attributed to a variety of possible mechanisms. Most basins can be explained by the thermal pattern of horizontal lithospheric extension. This model can be used to explain the causes of crustal thinning and long-term crustal subsidence, which can be used to predict the temperature field over the geologic period and to calculate the temperature of sediments, thereby providing the possibility of inferring the maturity of organic matter. However, without considering the sediment cover effect, the temperature of the sediments and the surface heat flux values are estimated too high. In this paper, we propose a finite difference one-dimensional numerical model. This mode compacts the sediment compaction and lithospheric cooling
