The agreement reached between the United States, Britain and the Soviet Union in Yalta in 1945 on the war and the post-war Far-East problems had a significant impact on China. The Chinese ambassador to the Soviet Union Fu Bingchang learned earlier about the Yalta Conference but did not know the contents of the clandestine agreement. His work has had some influence on Chiang Kai-shek’s decision on the Soviet policy. In fact, the policies of the Soviet Union and the United States both before and after the Yalta meeting have always been the same. The Yalta meeting has also exposed all the problems, including the conflict of interests and the strategic antagonism between the countries, which may be the reason for the advent of the Cold War. In many ways, the Cold War is closely linked with the Second World War. Although the war has finally ended, the problems and struggles in East Asia are in fact still continuing.
