Who can cut off the dependency relations that have taken place in China and the international market? Who can openly reject the social consensus of “insurmountable commodity economy”? Pandora’s box has been opened. I am worried that there may be such a possibility: in the face of the crisis, policymakers are afraid to take the risk of continuing great strides in reform and are hoping to re-use some of the old administrative measures to keep the situation.
