随着法制建设之日益加强,从事我国法律英译工作的队伍亦日益壮大,越来越多的新兵在参与光荣而又艰巨的法律英译任务。在法律英译这门课程有待创建,法律英译的教材有待编写的现阶段,译者往往边干边学。具体方法就是边译边去查找现有中国法的英译,以便对口模仿或套用类似条文的现有译文。目前,被参考得较多的译本有两种:一种是北京外文出版社出版的 The Laws of the People’s Republic of China,另一种则是中国法制出版社出版的 Laws andRegulations of the People’s Republic of China Governing Foreign-Related Matters. As the construction of the legal system has been strengthened day by day, the ranks engaged in the English translation of laws in our country have also grown in size. More and more recruits are participating in the glorious but arduous task of translating English laws. In the legal English translation of this course to be created, the legal English translation of the text to be prepared at this stage, the translator often learn by doing. The specific method is to search for the English translation of the existing Chinese law while imitating or applying existing translations of similar provisions. At present, there are two kinds of translations that are more referenced: one is The Laws of the People’s Republic of China published by Beijing Foreign Language Publishing House, and the other is Laws and Regulations of the People’s Republic of China Governing Foreign-Related Matters.
