天津西青区在西青道附近新辟了一座明清家具市场,市场里铝合金打造的小门脸儿一个连着一个,门脸儿内大都销售残破的旧柴木家具,偶尔也摆出一两件石雕作品。跨进偏东一家门脸儿的里面,几案上立着的两尊石雕像闯入我的视线。一尊高约30厘米,为一黑石雕成的立像,释迦佛站立于莲台上,上身内穿僧衹支,下穿裙衣,外穿通肩大衣,右手作施无畏印,左手作与愿印,表示释迦牟尼在游行说法、济度众生。另一尊与释迦佛像的高度大体相当,为花岗石雕成的高僧坐像。面形圆润,微目,重欬,体态盈硕,腰间束带,盘坐于台座之上。背面刻有楷书小字,然已模糊不清。
