上世纪50年代，洛阳涧西柴油机厂发掘工地发现一处钱币窖藏。陶罐内存钱币等物21.8公斤，包括钱币、铸钱残枝和铸钱残渣等。钱币有汉半两、4枚三铢和郡国五铢等；铸钱残枝重1．5公斤，有的上有残铸头20多个，有的上残留4枚五铢钱。铸钱残渣有铜渣2．3公斤，铁渣少许。
