On October 10, 1935, the 6th National Games of the Republic of China was held at the newly constructed Shanghai Stadium (now Jiangwan Stadium), an unprecedented Games in the history of old China. The opening ceremony was carried out in drizzly rain. More than 3,000 Shanghai pupils performed Taijiquan exercises. All the contestants took the lead by the band and circled for a week. Since the fall of the Northeast, each of the three National Games athletes took the lead admission. In the team of athletes from the three eastern provinces who are dressed in black filial piety, there are several contestants whose black and white flags are hand-held in black and white, symbolizing the Baishan Blackwater, the hometown of Japanese troops. All the spectators, including KMT members including Chiang Kai-shek, stood quietly and the audience was silent. “Do not forget the national shame”, this session of the special historical background of the National Games imposing a solemn imprint of the times.
