1 Project Overview Founded in 1979, Guzhuangzhuang tunnel was opened on December 24, 1984, with no pressure tunnel. It has a total length of 1420m, a hole diameter of 5.6m and a longitudinal slope of 1/1072. The geological conditions along the tunnel are complex and the lithology is quite different. During the construction period, the landslide occurred 14 times, especially in the inlet section.
