对16V240ZJ型柴油机中间齿轮在运用中发生轮齿折断的原因进行了分析，并在计算的基础上确定了中间支架安装螺栓的扭紧力矩；恢复了中间支架定位凸台尺寸φ160d；还提出了防止轮齿折断的其它措施。
The reason of gear tooth breakage occurred in the middle gear of 16V240ZJ diesel engine was analyzed. Based on the calculation, the tightening torque of the middle bracket mounting bolt was determined. The size of the positioning boss of the middle bracket was restored to φ160d.
