Wang Li “Ancient Chinese” in the “nouns as verbs ” section said: “nouns after verbs are also used as verbs. ” (“Ancient Chinese,” the fourth unit of “Ancient Chinese General Theory” Eleven “The use of word class”) The book cites two examples: false boat 楫 who can not water, but never rivers. (“Xunzi Encouraging Learning”) Desire like phase. (“Historical Biographies of Lian Po Lin Hsiang-ju”) In fact, these two examples do not belong to the same type, the latter with the object, the former without. And the nouns with the object itself is also one of the conditions for nouns to be used as verbs, so the second case of the issue of ownership is also debatable. These are reserved for later account.
