Despite the great efforts of many scientists in the world, the geophysical research on the Antarctic crustal structure is still under exploration. To date, aerospace geophysical surveys have focused on only a limited number of areas and have not yet adopted an effective integrated approach. The recent survey of the vast Antarctic interior region using radio echo measurements has made a significant contribution to the understanding of the structure beneath the Antarctic glacier. However, there are few studies of deep crust in this kind of survey. Therefore, the relationship between the bedrock undulations and the crustal structure is still to a large extent based on global analogies, and less on the basis of direct access to Antarctica
