Diabetes is a condition closely related to nutritional status. Appropriate nutritional indicators for comprehensive assessment of nutritional status of patients are beneficial to the formulation of nutritional treatment measures. This study evaluated nutritional status of 83 hospitalized diabetic patients. Materials and Methods Subjects Subjects Diabetes patients in the Department of Endocrinology, May-November 1997, randomly selected 83 patients (78 in 11 cases, 5 in I), 43 in males and 40 in females.
