梓树的外绒毡层来源于内次生周缘层,内绒毡层由紧靠孢造组织的药隔细胞分化而成。内绒毡层发育比外绒毡层早,细胞体积也较外绒毡层的细胞大,且内绒毡层中部的细胞在辐射方向上延伸形成假胎座。故梓树花药绒毡层不仅为双重源,而且是二形型的。 在紧靠表皮的一层细胞的壁上始终未看到纤维状加厚,仅在裂口区细胞和药隔细胞的壁上看到不明显的纤维状加厚。这是细胞最后随着中层消失而完全破坏消失,因此该细胞仍属于中层的一层。在梓树的花药中无药室内壁。
