This spring, Mr. Chen Tianlan, a 46-year-old Taiwanese writer, returned from Latin America and settled in Fuzhou, Fujian Province. During his stay in Beijing, Zhang Yan, deputy editor of the magazine, made a special trip to visit. It turned out that Mr Chan was an enthusiastic reader of this magazine. Since leaving Taiwan in 1982, he has read almost every issue of this journal. He said: “If there is any missing period, there seems to be a sense of loss in our hearts.” I did not expect that the topic of “China’s construction” would bring the hearts of both parties closer together and even return to Fuzhou afterwards Have letters to return. Mr. Chen has published over a dozen kinds of books in Taiwan and has successively served as editor of several newspapers and periodicals. What motivated him to come to the mainland with his parents and children? The reader can know the two letters from his friend.
