When using electrical logging data to find water saturation, Arcche equation should generally be used. Current conduction is carried out by ions in the water, so the water saturation and its spatial distribution have an effect on the conductivity. The experimental study on the influence of flow-displacement method and fluid distribution on resistivity was carried out. In the experiment, a micromodel was used - a transparent two-dimensional pore and pore-throat network. Its resistivity, but with different degrees of saturation, depends on the distribution of fluid saturation. The different fluid distribution and its effect on resistivity were confirmed by observation, and it was proved that the relationship between resistivity index and water saturation did not obey Archie’s formula. In porous media that are partially saturated with fluids, the variables that affect the resistivity include porosity
