[Objective] To establish a determination method for GC fingerprints of volatile oil in ASARI RADIX ET RHIZOMA from different habitats of Liaoning,so as to provide basis for evaluation, development and quality control of ASARI RADIX ET RHIZOMA medicinal resources.[Method] The volatile oil was first extracted from 10 batches of ASARI RADIX ET RHIZOMA by steam distillation. Then, comparative analysis was performed on GC fingerprints of volatile oil in ASARI RADIX ET RHIZOMA from different habitats of Liaoning by GC through optimizing the temperature programming.[Result] A total of ten common peaks were identified from the GC fingerprints of volatile oil in ASARI RADIX ET RHIZOMA,and the established GC fingerprints of ten batches of samples had good similarities. Moreover, the precision, repeatability and stability could meet the requirement.[Conclusion] The established method is reliable and feasible, which could provide reliable basis for evaluation, development and quality control of ASARI RADIX ET RHIZOMA medicinal resources. [Objective] To establish a determination method for GC fingerprints of volatile oil in ASARI RADIX ET RHIZOMA from different habitats of Liaoning, so as to provide basis for evaluation, development and quality control of ASARI RADIX ET RHIZOMA medicinal resources. [Method] The volatile oil was first extracted from 10 batches of ASARI RADIX ET RHIZOMA by steam distillation. Chen, comparative analysis was performed on GC fingerprints of volatile oil in ASARI RADIX ET RHIZOMA from different habitats of Liaoning by GC through optimizing the temperature programming. [Result] A total of ten common peaks were identified from the GC fingerprints of volatile oil in ASARI RADIX ET RHIZOMA, and the established GC fingerprints of ten batches of samples had good similarities. Moreover, the precision, repeatability and stability could meet the requirement. [Conclusion] The established method is reliable and feasible, which could provide reliable basis for evaluation, development and quality control of ASARI RADI X ET RHIZOMA medicinal resources.
