中药的性味,是祖国医药学在中药方面的基础理论之一。它包括着中药的性质和中药的滋味两个方面,各自具有自己的作用,是两种不同的涵义,但是两者又有着密切的联系,因此,这里拟分三个部分进行介绍。一、关于“性”的方面中药的“性”,古时又称为“气”。主要有四,故通称“四性”或“四气”。四性的具体内容为:寒、热、温、凉。其中寒和凉、温和热,仅是程度上的差异;而寒凉和温热则是性质上的不同。古人对于四性的认识,主要根据长期医疗实践,从药物作用于肌体所发生的反应而归纳总结出来的。例如:附子、肉桂能使寒性病症得以治愈,因此就了解到它们具有温热的药性;黄连、黄芩能使热性病症得以消除,因此就得出了它们是寒凉药性的结论。一般来说,凡是性属寒
The taste of Chinese medicine is one of the basic theories of Chinese medicine in the field of traditional Chinese medicine.
