Objective To investigate the prevalence of dyslipidemia and dyslipidemia among residents in Tianzhu Tibetan Autonomous County of Gansu Province. Methods A cluster random sampling method was used to select 479 Han people aged 18-74 and Tibetan residents who lived in the county for a long time as the research object. According to the age of 18 to 34 years old, 35 to 44 years old, 45 to 54 years old, 55 to 64 years old, 65 years old and over 5 age groups. All subjects were tested for indicators such as blood lipids, and according to 2007 guidelines for the prevention and treatment of dyslipidemia in Chinese adults lipid dyslipidemia or not to judge. Results The prevalence of dyslipidemia in residents in this area was 42.17%. The main types of dyslipidemia were high triglyceride (TG) and low-density lipoprotein-cholesterol (HDL-C). The incidence of dyslipidemia in 45 to 54 age group was the highest. Including male and female high total cholesterol (TC) hyperlipidemia, hypercholesterolemia, high LDL-C are the highest incidence of the crowd. The rate of dyslipidemia manifested as men continued to decline with age, the overall upward trend of women with age. The blood fat level and the incidence of dyslipidemia in women over 45 years old increased faster than men. There was no significant difference in the incidence of dyslipidemia among Han and Tibetans and the abnormality rate of the four blood lipids. Conclusion Residents of Tianzhu Tibetan Autonomous County of Gansu Province have a higher incidence of dyslipidemia. The prevalence and types of dyslipidemia among different sexes are quite different.
