为了能够最大限度地提高系统的利用率和系统的性能,采用计算机仿真的方法,在输入端口为VBR业务流的情况下,从信元丢失率、平均时延两个方面对共享缓冲区型ATM交换机中的缓冲区分配策略进行了比较.研究结果表明,VBR业务下,共享缓冲区型ATM交换机中缓冲区分配策略的性能与业务参数有很大关系.在一般情况下,采用共享的分配策略要优于没有共享的分配策略,而采取限制非公平占用措施的策略又要优于无限制非公平占用措施的策略.
In order to maximize system utilization and system performance, the computer simulation method is used in the case of input port VBR service flow, from the aspects of cell loss rate and average delay, The buffer allocation policy in the switch is compared. The results show that under the VBR service, the performance of the buffer allocation strategy in the shared buffer ATM switch has a great relationship with the service parameters. Under normal circumstances, the use of shared allocation strategy is better than that of no-share allocation strategy, and the strategy of restricting unfair-use measures is superior to the strategy of unlimited unfair-use measures.
