It can maintain the balance of bone reconstruction and play an important role in promoting osteoblast differentiation, regulating osteoclast activity and protecting cartilage tissue. It provides a broad prospect for the treatment of osteoporosis, osteoarthritis and some other diseases. In this paper, the action mechanism of schisandra chinensis and its active components in bone reconstruction was reviewed in order to provide theoretical basis for its product development and application in bone tissue engineering.
