雷州半岛1982年至1987年共营造桉树工程林14.93万亩,国家每亩工程林补助仅10元,群众投劳、筹资不一,造林措施不一,因而桉林生长存在差异。今年开始,雷州半岛计划营建桉树木片、造纸基地林(简称专用林)。为探索群众性种植桉树专用林既丰产又经济的途径,我们于1988年4～7月对近几年营造的桉树工程林进行调查。借鉴这些调查,对营造桉树专用林问题进行一些探讨。
From 1982 to 1987, Leizhou Peninsula created a total of 149,300 mu of eucalyptus forest and a subsidy of only 10 yuan per mu of national forest land. The masses engaged in labor and raised funds, and different afforestation measures resulted in differences in the growth of eucalyptus trees. Beginning of this year, Leizhou Peninsula plans to build eucalyptus wood chips, paper base forest (referred to as special forest). In order to explore a productive and economic way for mass planting Eucalyptus forests, we surveyed the eucalypt plantations constructed in recent years from April to July 1988. Draw lessons from these surveys, to explore the issue of creating eucalyptus forests.
