Expanded ammonium nitrate source column is a new type of internal expansion of ammonium nitrate explosives molding column. As a result of the use of expanded ammonium nitrate instead of the original ordinary ammonium nitrate, making the filling of TNT content reduced by 50%. In this paper, the formula design of extruded ammonium nitrate source pellets is discussed, and the explosion characteristic data of extruded ammonium nitrate pellets are given.
