INTRODUCTION Airborne pulsed Doppler radar provides a means of finding low-altitude flight targets. Such low-flying targets are often overshadowed by ground clutter over the same distance, which the general radar can not detect. Pulse Doppler radar technology is based on the Doppler effect or reduce the clutter method to improve the signal to noise ratio, thus the aircraft separated from the clutter. This article discusses the problem of using pulsed Doppler radar to determine the target distance using multiple pulse repetition frequencies.
