基于Unigraphics软件,在实体表面上作螺旋曲线:一种是用系统提供的方法,按照固定程序,输入相关参数直接成形,此作法只适用于规则型面;另一种做法是应用规律曲线,建立螺旋线,而这种做法没有一定的数学基础是很难做到的。尤其对一些在复杂型面上做螺旋曲线,更是无从下手。通过对一种R形成型钻头侧面三条大角度螺旋线混合曲面成型的分析,采用在二维平面内做出点集,并将这些点集向R形曲面上投影,再将投影点集顺次连接形成艺术样条,在样条的两端作出截面线串,进而形成扫掠曲面,为类似建模方法提供了新的参考。
