Chinese culture developed from deification era to social rationality earlier. Confucianism represents the premature spirit of the nation. It emphasizes ethics and light utilitarianism, pursues mountains and benevolences, and advocates the integration of “love” and “chi” into the landscape. Taoist theory of yin and yang advocated “harmony between man and nature” and “return to basics.” Buddhism pays attention to “comprehension of nature”, “I am one” and “extraordinary.” Chinese classical gardens are deeply influenced by Confucianism, Taoism and Buddhism.
