In our work on the determination of antiviral activity in potato varieties, we observed that Shuangfeng varieties inoculated with potato virus Y virus (PVY) showed many clear spots on the third day after inoculation. It is thus reminiscent of whether Shuangfeng was used as a host for identifying the blight of PVY due to Shuangfeng instead of A_6, and several in vitro inoculation experiments were conducted for this purpose because of Shuangfeng’s cultivars, and A_6 was used as a control.
