Objective: To investigate whether stress can lead elite athletes to pay attention to negative information and provide basis for pre-competition training and regulation. Methods: Positive, negative and negative emotions pictures were used as stimulating materials, and 25 elite athletes were tested under stress and non-stress conditions by point probing paradigm respectively. They were compared under different situations (stress, Non-stress) emotional stimulation of the target near the reaction time and attention bias score. Results: The reaction time of target stimulus near negative emotion faces under pressure was significantly shorter than that of target stimuli near positive and neutral emotion faces, and negative emotion faces’ attention bias scores were significantly greater than 0. Conclusion: Pressure easily lead to outstanding athletes attention to negative information bias.
