映霜红桃原名冬雪王桃,为极晚熟桃新品种,可春节上市,晚熟,耐藏,个大,优质,丰产,效益高。映霜红桃可以采用三种栽培模式:一是大田栽培。当年栽植,当年成花,第二年结果,第三年单产(667平方米产量)2500千克,4～5年单产可达5000千克以上。二是大棚延迟栽培。可在元旦至春节前鲜桃上市。三是大棚盆景延迟栽培,春节上市。1.品种特性映霜红桃树姿较开张,花瓣粉红色,花粉量大。果实圆形、纵径7.2厘米、横径7.8厘米,果形端正,果个大,平均单果重216.5克,最大425克。底色黄绿,
