PRADA 自1999年起就开始将注意力投向前卫创新的建筑设计。此次PRADA 选择 Herzog & de Meuron 来设计它的东京旗舰店就是基于两者在观点上的一致:要将创新的建筑演变成时尚文化的一部分。新店是一座六层高的玻璃体大楼,设计理念源自剔透的水晶。新店的外墙设计颇具革命性,由数以百计的菱形玻璃框格构成颇具现代感的幕墙,人们既可从店外透视店内陈列的产品,亦可从店内欣赏店外的景致。新店的设计强调垂直空间的层次
Since 1999, PRADA has begun to pay attention to Avantgarde’s innovative architectural designs. The PRADA chose Herzog & de Meuron to design its Tokyo flagship store based on the agreement of the two: to transform innovative buildings into a fashion culture. The new store is a six-storey glass building and its design concept is derived from crystal clear. The exterior design of the new store is quite revolutionary. Hundreds of diamond-shaped glass sashes form a modern curtain wall. People can see the products displayed in the store from outside the store or enjoy the view outside the store. The design of the new store emphasizes the level of vertical space
